  1. Will Rogers beach is as dead as....well, Will Rogers.

First time out today in 2 months. Not a nibble. Just me and one shore bird I was following around to see if he found any sand crabs. He did not. Last November, I had some good perch streaks at Will Rogers. It's easy to get to, cheap to park, and I like the rock jetties. But since mid December '14, one wee walleye. Do I go north or south now is the question. Decisions, decisions.

  2. Life after winter in San Diego .

So we are coming out of the freeze and into the spring Brothers , are you committed to the task at hand of catching the fish ? On the 5th or 6th of January it started to warm up a bit, so I decided I would wait a couple of days to go fishing. It wasn't as good as I thought it would be but I had some lucky catches the day I went.

I started the day off fishing the surf as this is my favorite fishing. ...

  5. Christmas Vacation Fishing in San Diego Bay- December 23rd and 26th 2014

Hello fellow fisherman!!! I would like to introduce myself since I am new here and currently a "Water Swatter" but I swear I'm not a water swatter. My name is Phillip and I have lived in Escondido CA for all of my life.. But recently that has changed. Now I am a freshman in my second semester at Idaho State University. Yikes!!!! But being so far from home isn't all that bad. Reason is because it really makes me miss fishing my favorite thing ever!!!! Pretty sad because in Pocatello ...
