Nice work! Actually this is really useful, let me try it out, so I would post the following everyone knows what is being said now!

Well, didn’t want to make the drive to SAMO so went to my local AO at HB in the OC and my dad from the IE decided to join. The AO was WO and I was out for some barn doors, IMO that is more fun that going for the little bittie BSP and WSP’s. Was a little early in the season for some beans anyway. My dad is a long rodder so he hooked up a bait and wait and threw it out going for the Leo’s and mud marlins. Fished the LC’s and the KM’s to start hit a couple short flatties. Decided I needed some actions I switched over the c-rig and couldn’t decide between the crack and the morf. Flipped the crack out, had to deal with a bunch of salad, but a couple cast later landed a pig. Weight it in 3-1. It was my PB. My dad’s bait and wait did nothing all day. LMAO. After fishing the crack I decided to to flip some gulp ghosties out there a bit. Finally hit my legal ‘butt.

Right before leaving the bait and wait went off. Pops headed over and wrestled in a nice little wiggles.

After that we decided to leave the beach and head over to NB Bay in search of some spotties. Threw the 63’s at them. Got skunked on spotties but did hit a couple YFC and SFCs.

There’s my update. Would have posted last night but I would have been PUI, ROFLMAO!

(not an actual report, just having some fun)

Lost all my fishing great in my last divorce 15 or 16 years ago. Will have to replace it all again. Have bass fished in Oklahoma, carp fished in Nebraska, used to like fishing Big Bear Lake, used to like the Charger out of Oxnard as it did a lot of 2 1/2 day trips, and tuna fished in Mexico on a 5 - 7 day trip. Never surf fished but want to learn. Hopefully, I may even meet someone on this forum who I might learn a bit from. Don't know why I
